We are very excited to announce this coming event, made possible by some amazing humans stepping up to fight for the Link Road Forest.

Hosted by Save Link Road Forest and THEYDY'S on Awabakal and Worimi Country, ‘For the Forest' is an event happening on the 7th of August to raise awareness of the Link Road Forest Campaign leading into the final week of the campaign's Parliamentary e-petition to the NSW Upper House which closes on the 14th of August.
THEYDY'S is located at 50 Clyde St Hamilton North. Head down the alleyway and once in the big carpark, you can easily identify the building as the one covered in a jungle.
Pete Gillam from the Awabakal Descendants Traditional Owners Aboriginal Corporation will open with a Welcome to Country and other speakers include Ian McKenzie from the Link Road Forest Campaign.
The night includes entertainment provided by the following talented local musos:

- Kellie Cain
- The Imperfections
- Joint Effort
- Two Voices in the Crowd.
There will be campaign trivia, opportunity to purchase campaign merch, and you can satisfy your appetite throughout the night with a legendary Bellicanta's sourdough pizza. There will also be some grub by Food Not Bombs available. The venue is BYO, and there are also drinks available on site.
Doors open from 6pm until late.
