Why
Join us at our annual Flag Raising event on Monday 6th July between 11am – 2pm, as we officially launch NAIDOC Week 2026 at Booln Booln Cultural Centre (410 Surf Coast HWY, Grovedale 3216).
The day is free for everyone to get together and celebrate our culture. All are welcome to attend – mob and allies.
Get the mob together, and lets celebrate '50 Years of Deadly' !!
For updates check the Wathaurong Aboriginal Co-operative event, or the Facebook event.
Please note: Parking for the NAIDOC Flag Raising event:
It’s a big event and parking is limited, so we encourage car-pooling or catching the bus (there’s a stop right out the front!).
Please leave the parking directly in front of Booln for our Aunties, Uncles, Elders, and those with limited mobility.
General parking is available at the rear of the site (off of Boundary Rd), as well as at the supermarket car park approximately a 1km walk to Booln Booln, or street parking in the estate across the road (there are traffic lights to cross the road).
Please do not park on private property.
For updates check the Wathaurong Aboriginal Co-operative event, or the Facebook event.
