He will be awarded the Sydney Peace Foundation Gold Medal for "his life-long commitment to environmental and social justice, standing up for nature and a sustainable world. Impactful environmental campaigns, spearheaded by his courageous and visionary leadership, and the creation of the Bob Brown Foundation, are a life-affirming legacy for this fragile planet and society."

This event is a call to hold power accountable and ensure that environmental justice remains at the heart of a peaceful, equitable society.

  • Book Sale: Dr Brown's book, Defiance, will be available for purchase. Drawing on his decades of activism, Defiance serves as a powerful call to action for a new generation to keep fighting for the wild.
