Why

Divine Playhouse has been officially forced to close, and it's calling on Sydney to raise its voice. This Saturday, July 25, the creative (and, yep, divisive) new arts venue will hold a peaceful 'sing-in' rally in Hyde Park after its lease at 420 Kent Street was terminated, forcing it to close. The venue says the decision threatens not just its future, but the future of independent arts spaces across NSW.
