Why
To mark NAIDOC Week, we’re screening of Nagana Yarrbayn: The Water Protectors.
Tickets are free but limited, reserve your spot.
This is a 25-minute documentary about Senior Cultural Custodian, Adrian Burragubba and the Wangan and Jagalingou people, and their fight to protect the Doongmabulla Springs from Adani’s Carmichael coal mine.
The film follows the story from the Springs to the courtroom, to the national stage - capturing both the beauty of these ancient springs, and the determination of the custodians to fulfil their sacred obligation under First Law to protect them.
Tickets are free but limited, reserve your spot.
