Why

Join the Darwin Pride Festival March as we take to the streets in a powerful celebration of Pride, visibility, and community in the Top End. Together, we walk for equality, safety, and connection, celebrating the newly established Rainbow Crossing as a landmark of Pride in Darwin.

Accessibility information: This is a public outdoor walking event. Accessibility support information will be provided ahead of the event, and participants are encouraged to plan ahead for mobility and support needs.

Rainbow Riders, Floats, Organisations, Groups and Local Business are welcome to register their interest here.

The Darwin Pride Festival March is one of the most powerful expressions of community, visibility, and solidarity within the festival program. The march brings together LGBTQIASB+ community members, allies, organisations, and supporters in a shared celebration of Pride in the Northern Territory.

Beginning with a Welcome to Country at the Darwin Esplanade, participants gather to move together in unity through the city in a vibrant public demonstration of visibility, inclusion, and strength.

This year’s march will proudly celebrate the newly established Rainbow Crossing, recognising it as a meaningful symbol of Pride, safety, and belonging in Darwin’s public spaces. The Darwin Pride Festival March is a moment to honour community resilience, celebrate how far we have come, and stand together in ongoing advocacy for equality and respect.

The march will conclude at Parliament House, where a community rally and speeches will bring participants together to reflect, share voices, and amplify messages of Pride, solidarity, and change. In partnership with City of Darwin and local businesses, the march invites the wider community to line the streets, show their support, and be part of this shared expression of Pride, connection, and joy.

Rainbow Riders, Floats, Organisations, Groups and Local Business are welcome to register their interest here.
