Presented by Dr Keren Rubinstein, this seminar will review the founding ideas of Jewish Zionism as a nationalist movement. We’ll look at the main figures, texts and ideals that guided them and consider how they envisioned and consolidated a Jewish nation state, in their own words. What stood behind their key symbols and what were their stated goals? The presentation will be followed by discussion.
