Why
Join millions around the world calling for an immediate end to the US-Israeli war on the Middle East/West Asia region. Stand with Palestine and the people of Lebanon and Iran. Stand for the freedom of land and people from the boots of Zionist colonialism, US imperialism and capitalist dictatorship.
In recent days, in the holy month of Ramadan, over 700 Iranians have been massacred, the US and Israel have provoked Iran into entering a war of imperialist choice, Israel has launched a ground invasion into Lebanon and Palestine has been further besieged. This must end now.
Australia must break from the US alliance and scrap AUKUS. Australia must close pine gap and end public funding of the US-Israeli war machine.
Our taxes are used to pay for and invest in the arms industry driving this capitalist, imperialist war.
Sovereignty has never been ceded. Australian support for US wars entrench Australian settler colonialism, white supremacy and capitalism, deterring decolonisation and independence.
We reject the war mongering lies. Freedom from authoritarian, capitalist oppression is not gained through support for imperialist war, it is gained through workers and oppressed people's struggle and revolution. We stand with the Iranian people in their legitimate struggle for change in Iran and condemn foreign interference and meddling.
Not another dollar, not another dime for US crimes. Following the unaccountable crimes against humanity committed by the imperialists in Afghanistan and Iraq, we should rise up to stop the war effort.
