Why

We encourage nationwide events on 15 March.

On Sunday, 15 March 2026 at 12pm outside the State Library of Victoria, we will come together to commemorate the 51 Muslim martyrs who were murdered during the Christchurch massacre.

6 years ago, on a quiet day, an Australian white supremacist entered into two mosques in Aeteoroa/New Zealand to gun down worshippers during Friday/Jumuah prayers.

Islamophobia in Australia has heightened since, and the colonial nation has not reckoned with an Australian white supremacist massacre that follows Australia's illegal invasions of Afghanistan and Iraq and the implementation of a torturous, xenophobic, carceral border regime.

We must remember that Australia's policy of war and human rights abuse inspired the perpetrator.

Take a stand against Islamophobia, racism and fascism.

Join us in marking 7 years since this quickly forgotten and deliberately brushed over racist attack on Muslims and refugees.

End white supremacy.
Smash fascism.
Glory to our martyrs.
