Why

Defending the land from capitalist domination; Latin American perspectives from below, a workshop that bring to the discussion the current situation in Latin America and the fight to build a better world without Capitalism, where the dogma of economic grow is the norm.

Latin America is in the middle of an historical struggle facing domination from the top with creative and committed stand against injustices, given the central point of the struggle to defend the Pachamama (the mother land), its indigenous people (First Nations), and minority and marginalised people, they are building their own power and communities with clear proposals to build a new society and showing to the people the useless of the State.

Joins us on March 22 at 3:15pm at Curtin Square in Carlton North, during the Degrowth Festival which start at 11am, hope to see you there.

The Degrowth Festival celebrates all degrowth-aligned activities by bringing together those interested in sharing skills and knowledge in a fun and convivial way. It is an enjoyable experience to illustrate the sorts of things that a future resilient community will need as collapse unfolds.
