Why

Join us for a protest outside the office of Chris Minns and a march through Kogarah!

We are coming together to oppose the NSW State Labor Government’s expansion of protest laws — laws that have been used to target Palestine solidarity actions and restrict the democratic right to dissent. These measures risk deepening division rather than fostering dialogue in our community and they DO NOT MAKE US SAFER!

Women are on the front line of displacement, siege and bombardment in Gaza and the West Bank. That is why we are gathering on International Women’s Day 2026 — to recognise the leadership, resilience and resistance of women in Palestine and across the world who stand against war and occupation.

Bring your friends and family. Hear speeches, music and community voices calling for:

  • Chris Minns MUST GO!! He has betrayed democracy and the people of NSW.
  • A free Palestine - from the river to the sea!
  • An end to the assault on Gaza!
  • No expansion of illegal wars across the Middle East!
  • The defence of democratic protest rights and free speech in NSW!

As conflict escalates and more civilians suffer — including in Iran — we reject the logic of endless militarisation and the alignment of governments that prioritise force over diplomacy and human rights.

It’s time to build a broad movement for peace, justice, and the protection of civil liberties here at home. We call for the repeal of the Minns Government’s protest laws and accountability for decisions that undermine democratic freedoms.
Stand with us. Organise. Mobilise. Demand better...and get MINNS OUT!
