Why

Camp Anarchy 2026 – March edition is a chance to connect with community and commune with nature. Join us for workshops and music, relax by the fire in the revegetated surrounds and sleep under the stars or in one of the original Communist Youth League model huts imported from the now Czech Republic.

Bring your ideas for an egalitarian, First Nation and worker-centered future free of capitalist oppression. Stalls and workshop proposals welcome.

Contact [email protected]. Tickets available from Humanitix.

Communal meals will be vegetarian/vegan with gluen free (GF) option. Kids are welcome as are dogs but keep the latter on a lead please as wildlife live here too.

Cost is $40 night including meals (for waged), kids free. $20 per night unwaged, free admission to BIPOC, and no one turned away for lack of funds.

The location is on Wurundjeri Country at Yarra Junction (at Camp Eureka – we have the entire camp), one and half hours from the city (Naarm).

Workshops start on Saturday morning 8th March, music Saturday night until 10pm, event goes end Monday morning 10th March (public holiday). We only have a few wheelchair accessible cabins so please let us know your needs asap and send an email so we can discuss [email protected].

This is a kid and dog friendly event, please note there is a creek on the camp property.

Take responsibility to ensure the dog you care for is maintaining respect for campers and wildlife (we prefer leads on at dusk to ensure wildlife is safe and no dogs near creek).

Meals are communal and we encourage all to be involved in cooking and cleaning, sharing delicious veggie and vegan food with the camp Anarchy community (a white board is in the communal room to fill in roster board).

There are wood-fired showers and composting toilets. Wood available for fires (must be in allocated pits) to sit around at night and soak in the clean smells of bush and see the stars.

The cabins are a first in first served basis – who ever rolls up first gets first pick. There are grounds for park up vehicles and tents (not powered – but there are power outlets in communal spaces). This is of course a Rainbow family friendly event.
