Please join AWSA members and friends to mark the 50th anniversary of the Sahrawi Arab Democratic Republic at 10 am on Friday 27 February 2026.

We will meet in the foyer of the Leichhardt Town Hall (facing Norton Street) at 9.45am, ahead of the flag raising at 10.00am.

Wear your Western Sahara T-shirt, if you have one. Spares are always on hand for purchase or loan.

The photos we send to the Western Sahara camps express our community's solidarity with the refugees in their struggle for self-determination.
