Why
Justice Not Jails invites the community join us for a gathering to mark Invasion and Survival day at 4 - 6pm on Monday 26 January at the Nightcliff Foreshore by the Rapid Creek footbridge.
This event is a chance for people to gather together in the spirit of the long-standing protest of this public holiday and in recognition of the ongoing injustices of our colonial history. On this day we call for justice for First Nations people, truth-telling about the history of this country, and an end to policies that continue to impact First Nations families and communities.
This gathering will include sharing food including a BBQ, music and speeches. Please bring a picnic mat or chair and a plate to share.
