Why
We hold a vigil for Climate every Friday morning from 8 am to 12 midday AEDT on the steps of Parliament Melbourne to draw attention to the worsening climate crisis.
We hope by being there consistently with our banners, placards and outreach materials, we can bring the climate crisis to the forefront of people’s minds and help them to find ways to take action.
It is also an opportunity to connect with other like-minded people, support each other and plan other ways of taking action aimed at preserving a liveable planet for present and future generations.
Come and join us if you can spare a couple of hours to hand out leaflets and engage with the public about the need for urgent action on climate!
Bring appropriate clothing, hat, sunscreen and/or rain gear, snacks and water.
