Last Sunday saw 60,000 people protest in Sydney for Palestine. All around the world a mass movement to stop Israel's massacre in Gaza is growing, with nearly a million people marching in London, and huge, defiant protests in country after country.
This Sunday let's make our protest even bigger!
We need everyone to help us spread the word and convince more and more people to take a stand and fight to stop this genocide, and to be there on Sunday.
So please: share this event on Fb and Insta, print out your own leaflets and posters or contact us to get some, talk to your families, friends, community organisations, workmates, classmates, everyone!
Make no mistake: this mass movement is having an impact. Public opinion is shifting. Western politicians who are supporting genocide are squirming, and increasingly having to back calls for a ceasefire. Israeli military strategists are worrying that their "window of opportunity" to slaughter more children and destroy more hospitals in Gaza is closing.
In Australia, the Government and media are doing their best to attack and undermine Palestine protesters, and are desperate to talk about anything except the crimes that Israel is carrying out in Gaza and the West Bank. But it is not working, and our movement continues to grow!
Join us on Sunday to demand:
- Israel out of Gaza
- Stop the bombing
- End the siege
- Australia: stop supporting genocide, cut ties with apartheid Israel
- End the ethnic cleansing of Palestinians
- Free Palestine!
We'll be marching through the city and back to Hyde Park.
Palestine Action Group acknowledges that this protest will take place on the stolen Aboriginal land of the Gadigal people.
