Why

Buru Energy, the fracking company known for smash hits you might remember such as: ‘Radioactive wastewater fracking test wells¹’, and ‘Clearing a 14,000 km line of native Kimberley bush²’, is upholding its reputation with an outrageous new proposal for the Kimberley. The company is now progressing studies on a floating LNG gas factory off the pristine Kimberley coast - one of the least impacted coastlines left in the world.

While Buru Energy has no current public plans to frack, it’s likely such a floating LNG facility would be a vital stepping stone towards fracking in the Kimberley.

It’s time to let Buru Energy and its investors and shareholders know what we think of its Kimberley trashing plans! We'll gather outside the company's Annual General Meeting to send a colourful message to shareholders and the media that we don't support oil and gas industrialisation of the precious Kimberley.

We will be there at 9.45am to welcome shareholders as they arrive for the AGM (which starts at 10.30am AWST). RSVP at our website if you can make it (that helps us plan the event), and we'll send you a reminder a few days before the event. https://www.frackfreewa.org.au/buru_agm_action
