Why

Information session about the upcoming Australia-NZ solidarity brigade to Cuba. For 38 years the Australia-Cuba Friendship Society, ACFS has organised an annual work-study brigade to Cuba. Travelling as a brigadista is the best way to learn about the Cuban Revolution and their struggle for self determination. The US has imposed a cruel and inhumane blockade on the Cuban people for more than 60 years. The brigade offers people the opportunity to see for themselves how the Cuban society works for the people.
