Campaigners called for an end to logging of Western Australia’s native forests on August 7.
The upside down protest aimed to highlight that the WA government's forest policy needed to be turned on its head: conserve our forests rather than turning them into woodchips, firewood and charcoal.
Forest management plans are drawn up every 10 years and, with a new plan scheduled to be released early next year, campaigners are pushing for an end to all logging in native forests.
