May 15 1948 is the anniversary of the Nakba, the mass expulsion of Palestinians from their homeland. This year we will join in solidarity with the Palestinian people to mark the anniversary on the 13th of May at 5.30pm in Reddacliff Place.

Between 1947 and 1949, Zionist paramilitaries, and subsequently Israeli forces, made 750,000 to one million indigenous Palestinians into refugees to establish a Jewish-majority state in Palestine.
