Join the Australia Cuba Friendship Society, Green Left and Palestine solidarity activists for an evening about the successes of the Cuba revolution and it's solidarity with Palestine and other oppressed nation-states.
Hear from:
• Adam Mayers, the National Co-ordinator of Australia Cuba Friendship Society, about the upcoming brigade to Cuba. Mayers has been the National Coordinator of the Southern Cross Brigade to Cuba since 2021. A unionist and activist, Mayershas been in the Cuba solidarity movement since university and researched Cuba's approaches to gender, legal equality and development. He is currently based in Naarm/Melbourne.
• Michael Hanna, Australia Cuba Friendship Society member, of Lebanese descent, former lawyer, public servant and Greens member. Hanna will present a talk about Cuba and the anti-capitalist government's support for Palestine.
