William Jolly Bridge action a highlight of Rebellion Week

October 12, 2019
Issue

Hundreds of people took part in a mass blockade of the William Jolly Bridge — a major river crossing in Brisbane — on the final day of the #SpringRebellion week on October 11. Almost 50 people were arrested as the bridge was closed for around two hours.

The action marked a very spirited conclusion to the week of action organised by Extinction Rebellion SEQ.
