Western Sydney University (WSU) and Western Sydney University College staff and supporters took strike action on June 7 at the WSU’s Parramatta Campus as part of their campaign for job security, casuals’ rights, fair workloads, a decent pay rise and a healthy work-life balance.

Staff gathered in the sun for music and speeches, and then marched to Vice Chancellor Barney Glover’s office to deliver their demands.

Meanwhile, NTEU members at the University of Technology overwhelmingly voted to take industrial action on June 6 in their fight for secure jobs, fair workloads and a decent pay rise.
