Silent march and artwork for Palestine

Arts, culture & social functions
Muloobinba/Newcastle

When

9:00am to 10:30am Friday 29 March

Where

Strzelecki Lookout
Newcastle NSW 2300
Australia

Why

Silent walk down Memorial Walkway. 8:50am meet for 9am start of walk at Strzelecki Lookout.

Bring: placards, flags, friends, and family, as we continue to bring awareness to the situation in Palestine. Children are very welcome to attend and take part, no expectation of them to be silent unless they would like.

We will then walk onto the beach past Bar Beach club house, where we will build a message in the sand and create a community art work (a drone will be used to capture the sand message of solidarity).

Friends will be at Bar Beach from 9am so please feel free to join us there by 9:15am to meet the marchers, if that is preferred.

Parking in Bar Beach car park is recommended.

How children experience the world is at the core of what we stand for.

Out of respect for that, there will be no speeches on the beach.

There will be the usual activities such as play-dough and drawing. We will also have a cabana.

Children are welcome to join the community message on the beach.

Organised by Newcastle Mums for Palestine. Everyone welcome to attend.
