Solidarity rallies have been called across Australia in response to the right-wing US Supreme Court overturning Roe v Wade, a 1973 decision recognising a woman’s right to abortion. This is an enormous attack on millions across the US, and an attempt to wind back the victories of the women's liberation movement.

Abortion is a health issue and should be available, accessible and affordable for all. Below are details for where you can join a protest in your city in solidarity with protests in the US and to defend and extend abortion rights in Australia. If you know the details of other rallies, please email them to editor@greenleft.org.au.
