Rally for whales not gas

We join SOPEC-Southern Ocean Protection Embassy Collective: Gunditjmara First Nations People’s Ocean defenders in their struggle to protect Sea Country.

The rally will be made up of people carrying placards depicting whale eyes, and some are wearing costumes on a sea life theme. There will be a continuous recording of whale song to accompany the march.

From the park we will march to the NOPSEMA office at 140 William St and then on to the State Library for speeches. Speakers will include Gunditjama woman, Yaaran Bundle from SOPEC, Lisa Deppeler from OCEAN and XR Westside’s Tony Gleeson.
