Why

The Mutual Aid Community Kitchen (MACK) has been running for over four years now, providing thousands of meals in that time to those going hungry on a Sunday afternoon. MACK runs out of Mathers House on Bathurst St every Sunday afternoon with an army of volunteers collecting donated produce from stallholders at the Farmgate Markets, then turning all those goodies into hearty and nutritious meals feeding a diverse range of people.

However, MACK is in need of a few dollars to purchase basic staples to help supplement the donated produce to be able to keep feeding the masses each Sunday. That's why we're holding another bushdance fundraiser to raise some much needed funds as well as spruik the good work that MACK does and encourage more people to get involved!

Dances will be called by David "Oddsocks" Wanless, with tunes provided by the lively Seat Pants Flyers, this will be sure to be another fantastic evening of dance, music, sweat, and endorphins! As always, no experience or partners required with all ages and identities welcome. Please bring a plate of supper to share and be sure to pre-purchase a ticket ($7-24) to save you any hassle at the door.

Tickets available from Humanitix.
