Why

Out on a charter off the Cape. Diving the Abrolhos. Chasing a swell down the southwest coast. When something goes wrong in these places, you are the help.

Tickets available from Humanitix.

Emma Freeman has spent more than 10 years on the floor of frontline emergency departments around Australia. She's seen what an ocean day looks like when it goes sideways a long way from a hospital, and she knows the handful of things that change how it ends.

This two-hour workshop puts those things in your hands: ocean rescue, breath practices to reoxygenate, drowning response, CPR, bleeding control, bites and stings. Small group and hands on, you'll leave knowing what to do when it counts.

Running as part of our Wild Waves Forever tour, fighting to save Scott Reef, both things are about places far from civilisation, how to protect them, and how to get home safely.

Tickets available from Humanitix.
