Why
People must oppose, denounce and protest US imperialism! The United States tries to dominate the world. It wants to ensure the whole world is open for exploitation by US corporations.
The US has invaded numerous countries (e.g. Guatemala, Cuba, R.Dominicana, Vietnam, Iraq, Afghanistan, Libya, others). It has organised military coups in many countries (e.g. Chile 1973, and an unsuccessful coup in Venezuela in 2002).
The US imposes economic sanctions on countries that defy it (e.g. Cuba, Venezuela, Iran). Such sanctions are a form of economic warfare and can cause severe hardship to the people of these countries.
The US supports Israel’s genocidal war against the people of Palestine. This is part of its strategy to control the Middle East.
The US has several bases in Australia, US troops and military aircraft are stationed here. Pine Gap helps the US to spy on other countries. Australian troops have joined many US wars, AUKUS will tie Australia even more closely to US imperialism. We must demand an the end to the US/ AUST. alliance
