The Resistance Is Created.
Join us as we Create to Resist, making White-throated Needletail puppets. The Olympic sprinter of the bird world, and a vulnerable species that migrates here every summer. They visit Victoria Park, roosting amongst the leafy trees
Where will they go this summer?
We can teach you a simple way of making dynamic puppets, from stuff you'll have lying about. Where you take them afterwards is up to you - we'll be making ours for an upcoming Save Victoria Park rally! Esther Dougherty, a playwright and director is in Brisbane briefly, and will be generously sharing their skills with us!
We will bring all the craft supplies, but please bring clean recycled 600ml bottles, old poles or sticks if you have them, and snacks!
Friends and a collaborative spirit also encouraged!
