Why

We have a huge fight on our hands against a Texas-based fracking company that wants to drill and frack 20 wells in the floodplain of the National Heritage-listed Martuwarra Fitzroy River here in the Kimberley.

We're bringing the community together for a group photo to help show the opposition to fracking in the Kimberley! Please join us this Sunday. Bring along your anti-fracking T-shirts, triangles, and yard signs. We'll also have lots of giveaways to share!

Right now, the federal public comment period is open for this fracking proposal, and we have the chance to make submissions against the project.

  • What: Community beach photo against fracking
  • When: Sunday 12 July, 5:00–5:30 pm
  • Where: Entrance Point, Broome (near the west boat ramp)

See you there!
