Why

The Voice of Hind Rajab tells the story of a young Palestinian girl trapped in a car under fire during the conflict with Israel. Red Crescent volunteers receive Hind Rajab's call. She pleads to be rescued. While trying to keep Hind Rajab on the line, they do everything they can to get an ambulance to her. The film is a mixture of documentary and drama.

Tickets available from Humanitix.

The Voice of Hind Rajab is based on an actual phone call made in Gaza on January 29, 2024.

The Voice of Hind Rajab premiered at the Venice Film Festival 2025, receiving a 23-minute standing ovation and seven awards. Many more prestigious awards followed.

The film will be followed by a Q and A with Dr Jordana Silverstein, a Jewish historian, writer and Executive Member of APAN. Dr Silverstein will provide some history and context to help us understand the current unfolding tragedy in Gaza.

Afternoon tea of Palestinian food will follow the Q and A. This is included in the ticket price.

All proceeds from tickets sales & donations go to UNWRA.

Please consider making a donation to UNRWA when purchasing your event ticket.
