A creative morning honoring mothers and children affected by genocide, from Palestine to First Nations communities and everywhere.

- FREE – Bring your own fabric and materials
- $5 – All materials provided
Small children socks donations needed.
We’ll be making fabric art squares for a large quilted banner. A declaration that mothers on this stolen land (so‑called Australia) stand united against all genocide and all forms of oppression.
How to make your square:
- Conceptualise – a design that tells your story
- Sketch – on a 15cm x 15cm paper template
- Gather fabric – 17cm x 17cm (includes 2cm stitching border)
- Create together – on the day
- Contribute – leave your square with us
All squares go to Mothers Against Genocide Art, to be stitched into one unified banner.
