Find out about reasons to Save Waterloo's public housing estate with tenants leading the campaign to stop evictions and demolitions and Dr. Alistair Sisson.

Join Rebecca Helen McQuorqodale, Karyn Brown, Colin Cox, Grant Donohue and other long-term Waterloo residents, alongside Alistair Sisson to find out more about the importance of the estate and campaign to save it.

Dr. Alistair Sisson is urban and human geography academic who completed a doctorate about the struggle to retain Waterloo's public housing estate. He has been an activist in Action for Public Housing, RedWatch and other resident action groups.

Start at the Waterloo Neighbourhood Centre, at 95 Wellington Street, Waterloo then we will be taken through the estate.

  • What: Walking tour through the Waterloo estate
  • Where: Start Waterloo Neighbourhood Centre, go through the Waterloo estate
  • How long: 10.30-12.30 (or so)
  • Cost: Donate to the campaign to Save Waterloo. If you can't pay, you WON'T be turned away.
