Why

The Adelaide Hills Council is voting on a motion to send a letter to State Government, to dump Santos from the Tour Down Under!

A powerful way to show community support for this motion is to fill the public gallery! This makes a real difference to the way that councilors vote. There’s 20 seats in the gallery - with your help we can fill it. RSVP to let us know you’re coming.

This is such an important motion. The Tour Down Under almost always passes through the Adelaide Hills Council. If this motion passes, it will encourage our State Government to put a ban on fossil fuel promotion and advertising within State governed events.

No need to bring or wear anything specific. There will be community members speaking to the motion. Make sure to loudly applaud their speech!

Unfortunately we don’t know when the motion will be tabled. Hence, arrive at 6:30pm, wait until the motion is tabled, and then leave anytime.
