Why

We invite community to come together in quiet strength and deep respect on Gadigal Country to honour Kumanjayi Little Baby.

This is a time to grieve, to stand in solidarity, and to hold space for one another.

We ask all who attend to respect cultural protocols. Please take the time to understand why we are gathering — this is a day for mourning, for reflection, and for community to come together in shared sorrow and respect. Follow the guidance of Elders and organisers, hold space quietly and move with care.

This is a vigil, not a protest. Please leave your flags at home — just bring yourself, your heart, and your respect.

Wear pink and bring a battery candle as we come together to remember a precious life taken too soon.
