Why

Doctors for the Environment Australia's Queensland branch is proud to host a screening of Taykayna.

Through the power of personal stories, be taken on a journey to the vast and threatened landscapes of Australia’s largest temperate rainforest in northwest Lutruwita / Tasmania.

Tickets available from Doctors for the Environment Australia.

This area, known as Takayna / Tarkine, is one of the last wild places on Earth.

Takayna / Tarkine — the Heart of Lutruwita is an inspiring and hopeful film about the battle to defend Takayna from mining and logging.

These people are fighting for its protection, and you can as well.

Join us to help support the Bob Brown Foundation in its fight to save Takayna.

  • Date: Thursday 28 May 2026
