Why

We’re riding over the Story Bridge to push back against dangerous, out-of-touch laws that target everyday riders of legal, pedal-assist bicycles.

The LNP State Government has introduced a Bill that would:
- require a driver’s licence to use legal pedal-assist e-bikes and e-scooters
- ban them for people under 16
- impose a 10km/h speed limit on footpaths and shared paths

This is our last chance to make our voices heard before the committee hands down its report on the Bill on Friday 8th May.

This a protected action under the Peaceful Assembly Act. Legal pedal-assist e-bikes only - no illegal e-motorbikes. Analogue/acoustic bicycles and legal e-scooters also welcome.
