Why

This panel explores the role of women within the Myanmar diaspora and the ways gender, displacement, and political struggle intersect beyond Myanmar’s borders.

Registration essential.

Women have been central to Myanmar’s resistance movements, humanitarian responses, and civic organising since the 2021 coup. Across the diaspora, they continue to mobilise communities, advocate internationally, and imagine new futures for Myanmar.

Bringing together activists, scholars, and community voices, this conversation reflects on how women outside Myanmar are shaping political discourse, sustaining resistance, and building transnational networks of solidarity.

Light refreshments will be provided on the day.

Registration essential.
