A fundraiser celebrating trans and gender diverse musicians in support of the Incarcerated Trans and Gender Diverse Community Fund, and RISE Refugee.

The line up includes brat grunge Mondo Cane, radical Blak hip hop artist Racerage, grunge punk gummo staples Heterophobes and coming down from Eora/Sydney the incredible Meow Meow and the Smackouts!
This gig takes place on Wurundjeri land. The venue, bands, and attendees acknowledge the traditional custodians of the land and that sovereignty was never ceded. We especially keep trans, gender-diverse, brotherboy and sistergirl Aboriginal and Torres Strait islander people in our hearts.
Incarceration and detention camps are the most vile parts of the imperial core of so called Australia, and it is vital that we do not forget our fellow human beings who are put through torture to uphold the state and status quo. None of us are free until all of us are free, and this goes for asylum seekers, refugees, and incarcerated people. This fundraiser is specifically for trans incarcerated people, but do not forget that Aboriginal people are the most overly policed people in the world.
As a community we cannot leave people to rot. The best I can do right now, it's put on a sick fundraiser gig. May we one day all be free, and stay free.
The right to control your own body and life free from violence, poverty, and discrimination is a vital fight. Trans liberation is linked to all movements for equality and justice, including the liberation of refugees and ex-detainees.
