Why

Every year on Palm Sunday thousands rally around the country to demand an end to our government’s cruel treatment and torture of people fleeing war, persecution and poverty.

The Australian Government continues to deport refugees, asylum seekers and stateless people to Nauru. We demand the government stop these deportations and close the Nauru Detention Centre.

We also call for a clear pathway to permanent residency for all people seeking asylum, including sufficient welfare and work rights.
March with us in Wollongong on the 29th of March to call for justice.
