Why
We care for the environment like our lives depend on it (spoiler: they do).
It’s been a year since the algal bloom began devastating SA coastlines and we’re done sobbing over dead sealife on the beach. Right now, it’s wreaking havoc on the Yorke Peninsula. With our state election imminent, it’s high time to send a message that this matters.
In partnership with Conservation SA and GetUp! we’re hosting a beach yoga session at 6:30am and human sign community action at 7am. Join us for a high vibes sunrise flow, followed by an epic group photo to help champion ocean conservation in the media.
We’ll spell out the message ‘Vote Nature’ with hundreds of bodies on the sand. Bring colourful props and bright gear to make an impact. Together, let’s make sure that political parties and candidates know the algal bloom is a critical issue.
Come be part of a social movement driven by fierce love for the living world.
