Why

Sydney Nannas invite our friends to join us in welcoming NSW politicians back to parliament on Tuesday 3 February.

We want them to do better. We especially want more action on climate change and protection of communities and nature.

A heat wave, fires and floods have ravaged the state since they last sat in the parliament. It's time for real climate action - no new coal mines and increased support for the regions to transition from coal.

Moolarben coal expansion threatens more than the climate: our water resources, First Nations heritage, koala habitat and nature reservations must be saved.

The Net Zero Commission warned the parliament in December that expanding and extending coal mining is not consistent with the NSW Climate Change Act. Yet 18 new projects are bumper to bumper in the planning system.
Please come along and join us in calling for the courage and leadership NSW deserves.
