Why
Premier Peter Malinauskas has plans for Possum Park / Pirltawardli (Park 1 of your Adelaide Park Lands).
He plans to spend tens of millions of $$ to satisfy some of the world's elite golfers.
But this would come at a drastic cost to you, your environment, and your Open, Green, Public North Adelaide golf courses, in this part of your Park Lands.
His vision: turning your cherished forested golf course Park into a profit centre, a year-round multi-million dollar golf carnival.
Come to the rally: Saturday, 28 February, 12 noon, at Montefiore Hill.
Bring your own sign, and a toy axe or toy chainsaw to tell the Premier: your Park Lands must not be pillaged for FIFO millionaires.

The Premier wants:
- 585 trees destroyed (his estimate, but he hasn't identified them!) to make longer, wider fairways;
- New buildings to generate million dollar revenue streams; and
- Months of fencing and grandstand construction disrupting your Park access multiple times every year.
His legislation allows fencing of:
- ALL of the Park for SOME of the year, and/or
- SOME of the Park for ALL of the year.

Hot weather policy
If the Bureau of Meteorology is forecasting a temperature of 35 degrees or more in Adelaide at 6.30pm on the evening of this event, then the Walk will be cancelled. The decision to cancel will be taken 24 hours before the event (ie at 6.30pm on the day before) and all ticket holders will be emailed and any fees paid will be refunded.

Release the hit list
Despite a promise of “extensive consultation” the State Government is still with-holding most of its plans for the North Adelaide golf course in the urban forested Possum Park /Pirltawardli (Park 1 of your Adelaide Park Lands).
You can urge the Premier to identify every one of the 585 mature trees that he admits he wants to destroy. Read more.
