Why

A New Collaborative Dance Work by Selfless Orchestra, Boss Arts Creative and Sarah Francis

Terra Nullius: Embodied is the powerful new collaborative performance work from Selfless Orchestra, Boss Arts Creative choreographer Sarah Francis reimagining the ensemble’s acclaimed album Terra Nullius as an immersive, physical experience.

Tickets are available from Moshtix.

Blending contemporary dance, live orchestral performance, and storytelling, Terra Nullius: Embodied explores the ongoing impacts of colonisation, cultural erasure and the living relationship between people and Country. This premiere presentation transforms Selfless Orchestra’s cinematic post rock into a living, breathing narrative, where bodies move with history, resistance and truth.

Through movement and music, the work expands on the album’s themes, honouring the resilience of Aboriginal communities and the deep knowledge of Elders who continue to hold their stories.

Boss Arts Creative Music Showcase

The evening will open with a special Boss Arts Creative Music Showcase, featuring a powerful lineup of First Nations artists, including:

  • Iconyx
  • DJ Bexx & Abrynz
  • Della Mob
  • Rhythm Tide
  • Bella-Rae
  • DJ Macca
  • and more…

More than a concert. More than a dance work.

Terra Nullius: Embodied is a shared act of remembrance, resistance and connection.

A timely and meaningful premiere that brings artists and communities together on stage, honouring stories that must be heard.

Tickets are available from Moshtix.
