Why
Join us on the forecourt as we welcome all members of Geelong’s fabulous LGBTQ+ community for a Pride Cabaret Launch Party the night before the Geelong Rainbow Festival kicks off.
We’ll be beginning the evening with a Smoking Ceremony and Welcome to Country out in the Art Centre forecourt as the red carpet is rolled out, truly welcoming us into the space.
Then, enter the Open House, where our vibrant MC will host an evening of dazzling performances – from drag to cabaret to live music. Between acts, our DJ will keep the beats flowing, so you can dance, mingle, and soak up the energy.
This is more than a party – it’s a celebration of identity, connection, and joy. Dress in something that makes you feel amazing and celebrates who you are and join with community to celebrate all our amazing uniqueness, all together! This is a cabaret event, so if you’re in the mood to strut and sparkle as we roll out the red carpet, there will be many photo opportunities!
