Why

Chris Minns gave the orders to police to unleash violence against peaceful protesters, including those in prayer, rallying against Israeli war criminal Isaac Herzog on February 9.

The Queensland Liberal National government looks set to create laws which allow the attorney general to outlaw words, including “From the river to the sea” and WA Labor and NSW Labor look set to follow suit.

All state governments are cracking down on our freedom of speech, including by arguing that the pro-Palestine movement is antisemitic.

Join this panel to discuss how best to combat these repressive laws. 5.30pm meal, 6pm start.
