Why
Come be part of the exciting new Drop Woodside campaign that has the Woodside sponsorship of our beloved WA Museum in its sights! We'll end that atrocious greenwashing and then maybe move on to other instances of this notorious polluter attempting to buy social licence.
XRWA are proud to be part of this campaign which was sparked by The Voices For Climate Collective choir singing a beautiful song, The Seed by Aurora, in protest, at Boola Bardip on Sunday Feb 1 (see our reel). Other climate groups were also involved in making this action happen including Disrupt Burrup Hub, WA Grandparents for Climate Action and The Selfless Orchestra.
The ongoing Drop Woodside campaign will be a community one, driven by whoever shows up to do the work, and have the fun, and will not be owned by any of the organisations who collaborated to sow the seed. Every one is welcome.
This community meeting is at Earthwise, the building behind the pink church.
