Why
Sydney Hearts In Action are gearing up for our solidarity market at the end of the month. We are finalising and then will be announcing vendors so watch this space for more information.
Entry will be by gold coin donation to initiatives in Farkha and most stallholders will be selling Palestinian wares or donating to projects/mutual aid in Palestine.
Housekeeping
Entry will be via gold coin donation to Farkha Children’s Cultural Centre in the West Bank. Many of our stallholders are donating a portion or all profits to Palestinian families and initiatives as mutual aid. Many are also Palestinian themselves, including some who have come from Gaza and have started new businesses. We will have a few stalls providing information on supporting medical initiatives, mutual aid for First Nations here in Australia, and supporting Sudanese people who are also experiencing a genocide.
There is no on-site parking available. There is ample street parking around Auburn St and the station is an easy walk. However if accessible parking is needed please reach out and we will try to accommodate something suitable.
Stallholders will accept a range of payments, some accept PayID (paying through banking app via their phone number), some cash, and some will have tap and pay. Prepare for cash but bring smaller notes please.

The building has ramps and accessible toilets so will accommodate prams and wheelchairs as needed.
There will be space available for prayers as needed.
The markets are indoors and partially air conditioned but with quieter eating and some activity space outdoors. Please plan accordingly for weather (sunblock and hats as required), layers perhaps, and we will have lemonade and cold drinks available for purchase.
