Why

The "Put Australia First" rally has been moved to 29 November, follow this event for any updates on time and location of our protest.

A new group of racists have called rallies to “Put Australia First” on 29 November opposing immigration.

They have organised the UK’s most well-known Nazi, Tommy Robinson, to speak via videolink. He is a violent, racist, Islamophobic thug.

Robinson was a member of the Nazi British National Party. He co-founded the racist English Defence League in 2009. Robinson has described Muslim babies as “time bombs”.

Following a violent street protest by his supporters in 2018, a Sikh temple and a Mosque were firebombed.

Robinson was convicted in 2005 of assaulting an off duty female police officer who intervened in a domestic dispute between him and his partner. In 2018 he was sentenced to 18 months’ jail for mortgage fraud. In 2021 he was convicted of libel after falsely accusing a 15-year-old refugee of attacking two schoolgirls.

Promoting Tommy Robinson exposes the far right and explicitly Nazi support that underlies Put Australia First and March for Australia.

Join us to rally against their racism and to say no to fascism and the far right.
